Sue Berube joined the Eaton & Berube Team in 2001 when Marc, her husband, purchased the agency from Cy Thibault. Sue currently oversees the Accounting and general office needs, and serves as our agency’s horse insurance specialist, assisting clients with specialized Equine Mortality Insurance, Major Medical/Horse Health Insurance and Horse Farm Package Policies.
After receiving her Bachelors Degree from Springfield College in Business Management, Sue began her insurance career in the Claims Department with OneBeacon and Acadia Insurance, a company Eaton & Berube represents. Sue has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of Workers Compensation, Property, Auto, Liability and Construction defect claims, with a concentration in the area of Coverage Review. Sue currently holds her Producer License as well as the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
As our horse insurance specialist, naturally Sue is a horse lover herself, with three horses of her own. A Georgetown, MA native, Sue relocated to New Hampshire in 1991 and has remained here ever since, currently residing in Bedford, NH with Marc, their three children, Connor, Sydney and Cole, three horses, five chickens, a cat named Boston, and three dogs, Ryley, Rosy and Lily.
Outside of the office, Sue enjoys skiing with her family, riding ATV’s and horseback riding and showing with her daughter. She has always been passionate about animal welfare and has fostered several Off Track Thoroughbreds through the CANTER organization. Within the community, Sue serves on the Board of Directors for the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, the New Hampshire High School Equestrian Teams, and the New Hampshire Hunter Jumper Association.
