Get to know your agent a little better, from both a professional and personal perspective. In this month’s post, meet Liz Demers, a personal lines customer service representative at our Nashua office, who joined our agency in 2012.

nh insurance agentsBefore transitioning to her current role as a personal lines customer service representative, Liz Demers joined our agency in June 2012 as an intern through InVEST, a school-to-work insurance program that teams with high school and college educators to provide a useful insurance curriculum for students. Our newest licensed agent, Liz obtained her property & casualty insurance license in September 2013, and is currently working on earning the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation with scholarship money she received from the InVEST program.

As a personal lines customer service representative, Liz assists our clients with billing questions, claims, and policy changes, as well as general inquiries and concerns.

“If they have any problems with their account, I do my best to rectify the situation and follow up if necessary,” Liz said.

In addition to working with our clients, Liz communicates daily with our company representatives and account managers to provide additional information and help resolve any issues they may have. She also handles incoming mail, faxes and phone calls from both clients and companies.

“I enjoy the challenge of servicing our clients from various companies,” she said. “Each company is unique in regard to its additional coverage, billing plans, and procedures. Therefore, I’m always learning or researching.”

Along with constantly learning, Liz also enjoys working with a group of friendly, supportive people.

“My favorite part about working for Eaton & Berube is my coworkers,” Liz said. “If I encounter an issue, I feel comfortable going to them for help. We work together, combining our experience and knowledge to best serve our clients.”

“Liz has been a great addition to our agency,” said Eaton & Berube President Marc Berube. “She is knowledgeable, courteous, and provides excellent service to our clients.”

If you enter Liz’s office, you will likely notice that outside of work, she’s passionate about photography, as several scenic shots she’s taken in Samoset, Maine, hang on her walls.

“At birthday parties, holidays and any type of get together, I love being able to capture the moment for us to enjoy later on,” she said.
