Sue Berube joined the Eaton & Berube Team in 2001 when Marc, her husband, purchased the agency from Cy Thibault. Sue brings 30+ years of insurance experience to the table. She’s successfully fulfilled a range of roles throughout her career in insurance, giving her a uniquely dynamic understanding of the industry.
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Springfield College in Business Management, Sue began her insurance career in the Claims Department with OneBeacon and Acadia Insurance, a company Eaton & Berube represents. Sue has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of Workers Compensation, Property, Auto, Liability and Construction defect claims, with a concentration in the area of Coverage Review. Sue currently holds her Producer License as well as the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
Her passion for animal welfare and animal therapeutic services for human welfare, led her to become Eaton & Berube’s horse insurance specialist; Well-versed in assisting clients with specialized Equine Mortality Insurance, Major Medical/Horse Health Insurance and Horse Farm Package Policies.
Outside of work Sue continues to pursue her love for horses, with three of her own. She has fostered several Off Track Thoroughbreds through the CANTER organization. Within the community, she’s served on numerous boards with responsibilities including Fund Development, Chair of Special Events, and Finance Committee. Sue currently serves on the Board of Directors for Home Health & Hospice Care in Southern NH.
A Georgetown, MA native, Sue relocated to New Hampshire in 1991 and has remained here ever since, currently residing in Bedford, NH with Marc, their three children, Connor, Sydney and Cole, two horses, a rescue cat named Boston, and three dogs, Chloe, Lily and Ember. Sue enjoys hiking, skiing with her family and horseback riding.
